HISTORY
Hellenic Shipyards of Perama S.A. were founded in 1963, marking their own chapter in the ship repair history of Piraeus.
In 1991, they became part of a traditional ship-owner family, marking a new era of modernization and growth.
Today, Hellenic Shipyards of Perama continue with the same strong vision, combining experience, innovation, and reliability, supporting at the same time the Greek shipping industry and remaining a point of reference in the Mediterranean.
NOTABLE PROJECTS
- Conversions of bulkers and reefer vessels
- Major refit & reconstruction of yachts such as M/Y MI ALMA
- Full conversion and total refit of a 174-meter cruise ship – one of the largest projects of its kind in Greece
- An under construction 61-meter megayacht, according to international high shipbuilding standards (Trinity Lioness)







FACILITIES & INFRASTUCTURE
The shipyard occupies a 25,613 sq.m. site in Perama, including:
A 150m x 10m pier providing mooring on both sides
One dock 28m x 9.5m
Specialized infrastructure for the safe stern berthing of mega yachts, offering secure stay in a controlled environment
The premises include fully equipped facilities:Â machine, electrical and carpentry workshops, storage areas, pump station, medical office and parking spaces.
The shipyard also features fire safety systems and infrastructure, fully compliant with all required specifications and international standards.Â
MACHINERY & EQUIPMENT
Our shipyard has modern equipment for the lifting and launching support of boats:
- 1 Travel Lift CIMOLAI with lifting capacity 820 tons, for hauling and launching yachts.
- 1 Travel Lift WISE with lifting capacity 200 tons, for yachts up to 38 meters in length and 8.5 meters in beam, for hauling and launching.
- 1 Transporter CIMOLAI with lifting capacity 60 tons for the transfer of yachts.
- 1 pier crane with a lifting capacity of 4 tons for servicing boats at the pier
- 2 Clarks with a lifting capacity of 3,5 tons for servicing boats
- 2 lifting platforms of 14 meters in height for work on boats
- 3 overhead cranes (1 x 10T and 2 x 3T) within the facilities to service the work
